We added a last min acoustic gig at The Finsbury tonight, such a beautiful venue and had a blast playing. I met some new acts who were blinding, you should absolutely check these out.
The Scruff Club (Right) are one of the best bands we've bumped into, Energetic, Charming Indie rock n roll with ska beats thrown in sporadically. Frontman Louis is an absolute Lad, he brought a freaking air horn with him, strutted round the audience as the band covered Ian Dury and terrorised the patrons in the quiet room. Marmite Boy is a TUNE! Check them out, great band.
Dave Santos. Love Dave, Country vibes, story teller lyrics and somgs about Nashville with titles like Easy Girls, Tough Women. Brilliant.
Benjamin Hughes. Irratatingly young and talented with epic taste in music, the balls to cover Jeff Buckley and the skills to pull it off while adding something original of himself. Stunning.
Anthony Moon. Also stepping up last minute Anthony rocked up with his acoustic guitar, opened the show and captivated the audience right from the off. Great voice and top songs. I really hope to catch him with his band in the near future, great stuff.
